Claudio Di Ciccio is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science of Sapienza University of Rome. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU Vienna, Austria). He received a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in 2013 at Sapienza. He obtained the national habilitation to associate professorship in the Information Systems and Computer Science areas. His research interests include Process Mining, Blockchains, and Service-oriented Architectures.
He has co-authored more than 90 peer-reviewed publications in major outlets in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering and related disciplines, receiving more than 2,000 citations with an h-index of 25 according to Google Scholar. His papers are published in the proceedings of renowned international conferences such as BPM, CAiSE, and ICSOC, and in top journals including Decision Support Systems, Information Systems and ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (all ranked Q1 by Scimago Journal Ranking).
