Designed by the service designer Camilla Masala, Pupulito is a rent service of organic diapers, with a washing and delivery service. The aim is reducing the environmental impact of disposable diapers and clothes, sharing and re-using them.
How does it work? Let’s see the details.
Users can subscribe a monthly offer, diversified by the amount of diapers requested, the needs and the prices.
30€ for the basic kit “Primi passi”, 60€ for the “amici per la pelle” kit. The costs for the delivery and pick up service (twice per week) are included.
Once used, the diapers are delivered to the closest Pupulito store, where laundry machines, sterilized after every washing, and organic soaps contribute to the sustainability of the service. Also the energy used comes from sustainable sources.
Another important tool is the tracking number on each order to guarantee the product personal use.
Pupulito has also a physical space, to wash, store or sell theirs products. But it’s also a place where to go to get some assistance, suggestions, informations or events, in order to make it becoming a social and meeting place.
Even though it’s brand new, Pupulito won the best service for Innovation award 2013 and it’s expanding its market from the Novara local reality (where it was born) to the main cities, such as Milano.
