Service Evaluation is an emerging field of study for the service design discipline.
Francesca Foglieni, PhD in Design at Politecnico di Milano, will guide the students through the creation of a service evaluation framework.
During the 3 day-module students will be presented with key concepts at the core of the evaluation practice, and with reflections on the role evaluation can have throughout the steps of the service design process.
The students will be asked to experiment the evaluation of an existing service as a potential knowledge base for service redesign. The experimentation will consist of designing an evaluation strategy for assessing the user experience of these services, collect data and finally elaborate evaluation results.
At the end of this last Pill, the students will learn how to structure a service evaluation strategy, how to turn user research into evaluative research and to use research tools as evaluation tools.
In the end they will be able to collect and analyze data from an evaluation perspective.
