On the 2nd of November the students of the Master in Service Design will start their first workshop at Museo del Novecento with Chiara Torti and Valentina D’Addato. The workshop will be based on an ethnographic research, in order to understand the opportunities in the museum and the visitors’ behavior, before, during and after the visit. This phase is the first step to find and understand drivers, useful for the next developments of the project.
Students will explore the museum with the aim to select research objectives through design tools and they will gather data, collected thanks to a field research, in order to summarize, visualize and identify useful information. The participants are going to understand how to design all the phases of service design ethnographic research. The final result will be a visualization of the research and the translation of all the gathered data into outcomes, that will represent the core-concepts for new design opportunities.
